“Not easy to find if you follow SatNav. Better to follow directions provided. Very pleasant situation in beautiful countryside. Staff were great, Room was good and reasonably comfortable but we fail to see how it qualified to be DeLux. Just little things would make a huge difference, For instance TV was mounted too high on the wall and therefore not comfortable to watch. Lighting was gloomy. “Room was large, big bathtub. One corner of the room had moisture damage, and mold, perhaps from a roof leak or condensation. Pub was cosy. Food tasty. There is nothing else to do in Sandhutton. A critter scampering, and chewing in the attic above our room kept us awake most of the night. ”

“Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay.”

“The hotel is ideally situated for Leeds Bradford airport and I have used it several times as a night before the stupid o”clock flight the next day.
Parking is easy and disabled spaces are right outside the reception entrance. Better policing of unauthorised use of the disabled parking spaces could be reviewed.
I fly too early to sample the breakfast unfortunately.
I have never used any of the amenities except for the restaurant. The food is good and set at a reasonable price.
