「This was a truly great experience. The property and room were so cozy and beautiful. Check in/out was so effortless and accommodating. 「We stayed here for two nights on our way further west. As previous reviewers stated, the place is very clean, comfortable and well planned out by the owner. They were very friendly, helpful, and kind, and we liked the little store where you can purchase local products. I mistakenly missed the description of the bathroom facilities as there is an actual outhouse directly beside the camper. It was so clean, and only a few steps from camper, so no issues there-just FYI if that would bother you....

「The owner has been so nice. Available without being intrusive. Sitting on the deck with mountains in the background and deer and rabbits frequently in sight. Also not far from Black Canyon, definitely worth seeing.
I would highly recommend staying here to escape the hustle and bustle of city, or even suburban life. 」

「Innovative and attractive, these small cabins and the surrounding five acres were perfect for our three-day stay. And Tim was a wonderful and helpful "landlord", guiding us to fantastic drives and hikes. Moreover, the nearby town of Paonia was a great discovery. Thanks, Tim!」

「I had notified the owner that my husband cannot have dairy or eggs, when I made the reservation. The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it.
The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). The same person asked me if eggs over easy would be ok, and I said no, I was feeling very unwell and would appreciate something light. He became ANGRY and snapped that this is NOT how B&B works. I...

「Newer property in a rural setting. Was close to our fishing and Hotchkiss. Quiet area. Deer often around the property. Could use a few minor things like something in the bathroom to put items on. No area around the sink for this. No body wash available. Kleenex box ran out of tissue. Couldn't find more, but maybe didn't see them?」

「A billionaire view of mountains from the property. A great breeze most of the time down the valley. When the glamping tent i reserved went down in a storm, the host generously offered us a cabin for the same price. The only drawback was the uphill walk to bath.」

「The glamping tent was wonderful - very spacious, comfy bed. And there was a heater and a fan - we needed the fan because it was so hot (but so much cooler at night). Siiting on the deck was so relaxing - very pretty plantings all around. And quiet. Only 1 other tent. The shower was close and worked so well. The porta potties looked and smelled nice and clean (however, bring a flashlight). 」

「Great location, clean, beautiful gardens. We were there during a bit of a heat wave and the house only has one swamp cooler in the main room so it was a bit hot… Some fans would be nice. It would also be nice to have a more opaque privacy screen for the second full bed since we were there with friends. But overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again.」

「Beautiful 2-story cabin. Basic looking on the outside but well appointed on the inside. Upstairs bathroom has heated floors and the largest solo soaker tub I’ve ever seen! Kitchen has modern appliances. Owner was very friendly & willing to help. I had a family emergency and he offered to help as best he could. I’m definitely coming back! 」
