"This was an excellently decorated & comfortably furnished apartment, perfectly located in a quiet location in the main part of town. We parked a short distance away at the ASDA car park, which was reasonably priced via the JustPark app. Helpful owners & excellent communication. We didn’t use the cooking equipment as the apartment was close to a number of chain restaurants - we did notice that there was no sharp knife nor microwave but otherwise was very well equipped. "We were walking the wales coast path and had not factored in the demand around Cardiff for accommodation when concerts are on. The student accommodation was the only reasonable priced option we could get for the weekend ( still more expensive than a premier inn) The main issue was heat, the room was very warm, a fan was provided but the window is only open a few issues (H&S) therefore circulating warm air. Good security, shower was fine, bed linen and towels fine. Small kitchen and seating are...

"Hotel was lovely, bit outdated in room. No lighting so was hard to see. Pool was little cold and hot tub wasn't working for the two days we were there. Surroundings were lovely, nice breakfast and selection of drinks at the bar. Would be an idea to tell people of the cost of taxis before attending as there is no taxi service about and they have to come from Newport. So for a 5 minute drive into the town costs £22!"

Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"Very good 2 night stay. Swimming pool, spa etc very good, we thought that a closing time of the pool at 7pm was quite early though for the weekend. Receptionists very heplful and welcoming, Room was very spacious but could only find 1 socket to plug in electricals, which was surpising. Having a balcony with a fantastic view of the Welsh valleys was definitley a bonus. Slightly annoying that they were cutting the grass at 7.30 in the mornings on the golf course which woke us up after an 8 and a half hour drive to get to the hotel the night before, so much for a weekend lie in! All in all, a good stay and would visit again."
