「Lovely character full older property in its own grounds just outside Hastings. It suited our needs entirely as a quiet location out of town although the road to Rye passes outside but not unduly intrusive at all. Lovely period furniture in the public areas of the hotel with helpful and friendly staff especially at breakfast service. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and you have the time take a brief wander around the lake with its fountain, the grounds need a little work and...

「We stayed at The Doghouse Inn for two nights with my partner and our dog, and we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and quick. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed, and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our dog was treated like a guest too, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely come back.」

「The Apollo was a 2 minute walk from train station and buses. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room (5) was clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of Tea, coffee and milk in room. Also a lovely touch was the biscuits, cartons of juices and bottled water. I would recommend the Apollo.」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」
