Clean and comfortable. Just needs a few little touches to make it perfect. Windows not clear to see through. No splash back behind hob and no sealant around worktop.

EXCELLENT

A beautiful cottage in a perfect and convenient spot for all amenities and only a minute from the harbour and lovely walks. The cottage was well equipped and immaculately clean. Just a couple of little things would have helped: Perhaps a safety rail could be fitted on the wall over the bath and a safety bath mat for use in the bath, (my husband is unsteady on his feet, and couldn't use the shower during our stay), the bath was too slippy) -so for health and safety reasons please consider a mat and rail. Instruction info needed to the operate the TV, as we couldn't watch any live tv.; (I know it's probably idiot proof for most people, but try as we might we simply couldn't fathom the thing out! There were no scissors in the kitchen drawers, which would have been useful - luckily I had my nail scissors with me! Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend Tigh-na-Mara, Helmsdale.
