"Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. "Direction to place was not good were actually off a good bit. The road to the cabins is so rough you need a good 4 wheel drive vehicle to get through them we do not recommend cars. "Cabin itself is lovely. Saw some people complain about cleanliness but do not know where that came from. Property is very well maintained. Only two minor issues is that the owner could invest in slightly better wifi. Was able to get the little bit of work I needed to do done but it’s very slow. Also needs to buy new pillows for the beds. They were so flat, feel like they haven’t been changed out in a couple of years."

Everything functioned as advertised but it could use some updating (kitchen appliances were pretty dated and the plates, cups/glasses, and sliverware were mismatched) also cookware is provide, but again dated and mismatched. The shower was small and bathroom in general could use some updates (especially the sink faucet and shower head) but again functional. With plenty of towels...
