「Dreamy location! Peaceful retreat along the inner coastal, sitting on the back dock we saw beautiful wildlife, even a dolphin! Downtown is a short drive away for night life or for beach vibes head to Tybee Island. Gracious and easy to communicate with hosts. This was our 2nd trip to the Boathouse, highly recommend it!」

「Lovely, quiet cottage in walking distance to the water and downtown Beaufort. Comfortable bed and just the right size for 2 of us. Our only issue was that the shower was either scalding or freezing, it was impossible to regulate. 」

「We enjoyed our stay at the Twin Palms cottage in early July. Very cozy with everything you need to relax on Tybee. The outdoor shower is great and the screened porch on the front is an awesome place to just relax. It's an easy walk to the beach by the river or to AJ's for dinner!」

「Love this place! I’ve stayed here 5 times and I never get tired of it. The bed is so comfortable! I love looking at the birds outside my bedroom window. I love the spiral staircase and the decor. I enjoy my morning cup of coffee out on the private patio with the songs of birds above me. The location is great! Easy parking. 」

「Great little cottage on Bay street! Such a beautiful historic area! Also, close to everything Beaufort has to offer! Cottage is super clean and perfect for what we needed. 」

「This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back! 」

「We love Palmetto Bluff and this property was just what we were looking for! The homeowners were lovely to work with and the home itself was great. Furnishings were very comfortable and the house was clean. You can’t beat this location! Highly recommend this home. 」

「What a spot! So tastefully put together, everything imaginable for staying here, location was right in the Historic District and 2 blocks off of the waterfront; we felt like we lucked out booking this property! Owners were very kind and accommodated our early arrival. We shall return!!」

「The cottage is stunning with paintings by the owner herself. It was like staying in a gallery. Every detail was accounted for and we have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvement. The location was fabulous, we walked everywhere. One of the highlights of our stay was just sitting down with Ellen and Mike and hearing their story. Thank you for such a perfect weekend. We will definitely be back.」
