"Great hotel in an ideal location. A staff member met us and took us to our room to check us in. The unit had two bedrooms and a large living room area for eating and television. Beautiful room. Great location next to a scenic temple. We had the breakfast in our room. It was tasty and a reasonable price. I highly recommend it! "

"We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. "Not the easiest place to find, would suggest a sign between the two other buildings, it’s opp the Police station. At the rear of the front buildings. However once you have found it, the accommodation is great. Easy walk to buses or taxi to wherever. Great place would recommend, just remember it’s down an alley!"
