“Steamboat Inn is a lovely property on the Umpqua River. We stayed in a cabin room right on the river. It was spacious and the balcony a restful place to read and watch the river. The balcony is shared with others in cabin rooms but set up so that each room has its own chairs and space. Note that there is no TV and even our phone network did not work. The food at the on-site restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We stayed 3 nights and ate there every evening. The steelhead was done to……

“Great spot to stay for close access to fishing and other mountain sports. I noticed many white water rafters. The property is also close to Roseburg and the many wineries in the valley. Very clean and owner great people. Have a nice bar on property and there was small band playing Friday night.”

“I grew up in the area but had never had an opportunity to stay here before. Joanne was supper helpful and kind, obviously loves this lodge. Our room (#1) was spacious, and there were food offerings (in addition to our welcome gift of zucchini bread) across the street, and a few places nearby. Although close to the street, we found the rustic appeal of this lodge overwhelmed the noise of the traffic, that depending on where you stay in the lodge you might not hear at all. Will stay here again……
