Kyoto Junenji Temple Hotels

"This hotel is one of my favorite globally. From the friendly reception upon arriving to how relaxing the room felt after putting in 18km walking around for the day The Onsen here is what really got me. Went every day and it was the greatest way to start the day. I thought the location was somewhat central to what we visited, and close to rail for Kyoto or further. We only ate the breakfast the one day. It was good but 3000 yen per person, so plan accordingly. Book your stay here while in Kyoto and you will be pleased with your accommodations. "

"One of the better hotels we stayed at. Really happy with the location, we walked a lot of places and the station is near by. Clean and modern. Rooms are small but many are in Japan. We were there before the restaurant opened so didn’t get to try it but it looked really nice. "

"The staff was very nice and very friendly and helpful as they all are in Japan. The location of the hotel is very central so we were able to go into different directions for a lot of the tourist attractions that we wanted to hit. The area is safe and quiet and peaceful and right across from the imperial Palace. I liked everything about this hotel, except The pillows The pillows in many hotels in Japan feel like you are sleeping on padded bricks. I am not exaggerating, and I mentioned it to the gentleman in the front desk and he recommended that I wrap the padded bricks with bath towels. Now they felt like padded bricks wrapped with bath towels "
