Hope & Anchor

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful stay - cosy, warm and very welcoming. Lovely room with sea view. Brillo want position right on the bay across from the beach. Staff so helpful, professional and friendly especially Ogne. Great food, good choices too and nice selection of drinks . Very dog friendly. Highly recommend this lovely pub. And hope to come back for another stay"

Waterside cottage in a magical setting on the Salcombe Estuary (sleeps 6)

10/10 Excellent

"The cottage is lovely, with a real family-home feel. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and there are plenty of games to keep family members amused, if the weather isn’t the best. We didn’t make use of the boat or kayaks as the creek didn’t have a lot of water in it when we stayed. However,I can imagine this would have been a lot of fun on a nice day.We went as a party of five adults and the accommodation worked well for us as we were able to use the two double bedrooms and the bunk bed room. The twin is really most suited to children, or very small adults. There are a lot of steps up to the property and down to the jetty so families with small children or members with mobility issues should be aware of this. It wasn’t a problem for us,however. The communication from the host was excellent and they were very accommodating over the booking in and booking out times, which was much appreciated."

Stunning views from one of the best located cottages in Devon

"What a locationThe area is stunning. Lovely walks with our dog, loved our stay. The property has prime views, and a lovely patio area to sit and relax. The property was clean. The heating hot water and bath shower were perfect. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We were so impressed with the overall property and location, that we are planning on returning next year.Cannot fault anything in any way Hope Cove and this property are real hidden gems ."

Chillington House

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed here as an entry point to the South West Coastal path so whilst the town itself only has a pub and a post office, it was perfect for a 1 night stay before starting a long walk. There's also a local bus which goes a few times a day. Big room, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast included. Lovely stay."

Glebe Farm B&B

10/10 Excellent

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely wonderful stay – we can’t wait to return! We had the most wonderful stay at Glebe Farm, staying in The Shippen with our two dogs, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we immediately felt completely at home. The setting is absolutely stunning. It’s beautifully rural and peaceful, with gorgeous views in every direction and the property itself is spectacular. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to roam around the grounds and explore, which made it such a perfect choice for a dog-friendly break. The location is fantastic if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some real peace and quiet, while still being within easy reach of the surrounding area. There’s something incredibly special about waking up surrounded by countryside and beautiful scenery. The Shippen was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts for making us feel so welcome. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend Glebe Farm to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and truly dog-friendly getaway. 🐾❤️ Five stars without hesitation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

350m from beaches, pub and charming village of Hope Cove

8/10 Good

Situated in a quaint village-walking distance to Slapton Sands Beach & Ley.

10/10 Excellent

"We had such a great time staying at the Stables. The property was beautiful and access to electric charging a bonus. It was a perfect summer break for our family (2 adults and 4 children) and we hope to come back one day!"
