“My husband and I, along with our dog, have just spent a wonderful week at Garden View. The hosts, who live in the main house at the address, Steve and Judy, were welcoming and friendly. The property is situated in a perfect place for exploring South Devon with a bus stop just yards away that runs hourly to Brixham min one direction and Kingswear (for Dartmouth via ferry) in the other. A short walk up the road enables yoi to catch a bus to Paignton and beyond. In the property, the twin beds……

Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”

Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. ”

Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas……
