"The property itself is so beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were as described and actually quite large. We really enjoyed the balcony. Note all rooms are smoking but as a non smoker it did not really bother me after they they used the spray. "

"Booked to stay here for an authentic Ryokan Onsen experience on our Japan holiday. This was our first time at both a ryokan and an Onsen so we don’t have an awful lot to compare it to on those aspects. However, the positives of the hotel were that the staff were very friendly and happy to help. They spoke a small amount of English and were happy to try to assist when needed. "We took japanese style bedroom but the futons were super thin so uncomfortable. The private onsen was a bit smelly making the experience less enjoyable. For the travel to reach the place, we struggle little to go by bus. For the positive, the staff was amazing and helpful, the breakfast has lot of varieties for everyone. The room was super clean, spacious and very beautiful. Spending time with dogs around was lovely... what an amazing concept hotel."

"The view was exceptional when we arrived and the staff was amazing and super accommodating since we had someone who didn't like fish. Nel was particularly lovely and kind. We'd be happy to host her if she ever gets the chance to come visit Canada like she wants :) Decoration could use a freshen up, but it was comfortable and the 24h baths were great. Food was also delicious and there was so much! We could never finish our whole meal."
