We had a very nice time on our stay at this small quiet hotel. We had the Shikibu room and appreciated the spaciousness. It had an outdoor garden view as well as a separate private small outdoor onsen. The onsen looks tiny on first impression but it was nice and we enjoyed the outside seating area too. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice, and definitely get the breakfast. Amazing breakfast! The staff were friendly and very helpful with transportation back to the train station. Some of the bathroom features were a little bit worn, but everything else was great.

Honestly the most amazing experience I had while in Japan. The onsen in the room was heavenly and so relaxing to be able to use after walking around the lake. They also have the friendliest and most considerate staff. I highly recommend and will be staying again for my next trip.

This hotel was the best experience we had during our 2 week tour of Japan. The service and room accommodations were outstanding. If you like Japanese cuisine this place has an excellent breakfast and you must have the Japanese dinner at least one night during stay, so delicious. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Such a quaint cozy hotel and a lovely Japanese touch to everything.
