Good services and clean. Their food is delicious and the service team is helpful and nice. It is also good to have a morning walk in the mountain with fresh air.

My stay at Wafu-no-Yado Masuya was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Yamanouchi, this ryokan offers a peaceful retreat with authentic Japanese charm. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality and impeccable service. Their kindness and attentiveness made me feel truly welcome.
The rooms are beautifully designed in a traditional Japanese style, complete with tatami mats and futon beds. I especially loved the private outdoor onsen.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. They responded to our request immediately. The Onsen (indoor and outdoor) are very nice and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfasts were excellent. Every staff were friendly and we really felt like home. Location is nearby the major travel spot but not noisy.
Everything is good, just a very little thing: moved luggages by hand to room at 2nd floor. To me as a hushand and a daddy, it meant luggages of 3 persons I moved.

A two-night stay at Hotel Wellies is absolutely awesome! It is rare to have a British-style hotel in Japan. The room is comfortable and the English breakfast is nicely served. The staff are really friendly and helpful. If Chris, the owner of the hotel, is free (usually in the morning), he will take you around the town, which saves a lot of time waiting buses or train.
