We had the half board, stayed 2 nights there, the dining experience was amazing, great food, well-decorated dishes and polite staff. Our highly recommended stay at Kusatsu."

"The hotel facilities and rooms are very old. There was a very strong smell of smoke in the room. We had to keep the window open all night even though it was very cold outside (–10°C). There were obvious stains on the tatami mat floor in the room. The staff member who helped us check in was a bit annoying and impolite. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families or group stays."
