“My husband and have stayed here several times. It is a really nice setting, and we have always enjoyed it. This time I spent time in Boothbay Harbor and out at Pemiquid Lighthouse. Handy to both places. I do wish they still had a complimentary breakfast like they used to.”

“I don't usually stay in motels BUT I was very impressed. Large rooms and a very comfortable bed. No elevator and we were put on the 2nd floor. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and hot.”

“Love Tugboat Inn! Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful view over the harbor! Great stay! We will be back!”

“This Inn was in a great location and was lovely. Our room was clean. Breakfasts were delicious! I would stay there again without question.”

“The location was nice if you want just to relax. It’s 15 minutes from everything. We traveled with a small pet ( our first time in a hotel with one ) The pictures I saw online of the place did not match the actual room. I guess because we had a pet we stayed in the old apartment building. Not impressed with the place and would not stay there again.”

“The property is rustic, but reminiscent of the old resort style. The amenities are few compared to, say amenities found at the Hilton Garden Inn in Portland, Maine. The location on the ocean is superb with wonderful views and Customer Service was excellent.”

“This is a beautiful property. Room was very clean. The view of the bay from the balcony was breathtaking. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding with made to order eggs and pumpkin pancakes or French toast. We will definitely return to this location.”

“I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The beds were too firm and could use a mattress topper. Other than that it was a great place with a very nice breakfast. You can’t beat the location.”

“The place was very nice. Easy to get too. Beautiful garden in back. They had a refrigerator with a clear basket for you to use while you stayed with them, nice idea.”

“We loved the location, the newly renovated room, and especially the shared kitchen! Jersey connected us with a local lobster fisherman and were able to pick up three fresh caught, live cooked lobsters (they were still warm at pick up) to take back and enjoy with a view - Delicious and affordable! It was definitely a perk to be able to use the kitchen to prepare side dishes, etc. The other upside to shared spaces is getting to know other guests, two of which we discovered had a close family……

“Breakfast was great- the rooms where clean and there were a lot of details taken care of.”

“no hot food in breakfast”

“The motel is in a great location walkable to harbor attractions and lots of restaurants. It is a low frills, vintage property (small bathroom and older decor/fixtures) but it was clean and bed was comfortable. All we needed for 1 night.”

“The inn is in an old historic building, with lots of original character. Fantastic to have parking. Great location, short walk to town. We stayed in the Victory room on the first floor. Very spacious, clean and nice bedding on comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot and good water pressure. Things to know: We had a window AC but no thermostat to control heat (fortunately we had ideal weather). We were next to a restaurant in the building so had to keep curtains closed as people were walking……
