「The House on Chase Creek is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I’ve been telling him about Shelter Island literally for almost 40 years. Well we finally made it and the trip, the home, the welcoming of my dog, was all so just so welcoming and nice. Bill, the proprietor, took great care to answer any questions and tell us about the Island. Then we enter the most immaculate room, as clean as the ritz! One of the only complaints we had is that it was very cold in our room compared to the rest of the building. The people above us were also very loud late into the night and early morning. Upon our arrival the house was immaculate and decorated so beautifully. Debbie was so helpful with any questions that I had. We will definitely be staying here again!」

「ここは好みが分かれそうです。場所は文字通りダウンタウンにある家で、安いのて選びました。 部屋はベッドにテレビ、小さなテーブルも1つあり、バスタオル付です。 シャワーとトイレ、キッチンは共用で、片付いています。 が、まず空調は冷房だけで冬は毛布が置いてあるだけです。またWifiはドアに書いてあるものと違うのを使っています。私が一番困ったのは、管理人が正面玄関を開ける形にしているので、自由には出入りし難いことと、部屋には内鍵しかないため、自分がシャワー等を浴びたりしている間のセキュリティが心配になる事でした。 つまり安いなりのリスクがある、ということを自覚して行くと良いでしょう。」
