「I was in town early for my daughter's wedding and needed a place to stay before my wedding condo was available. As it turned out, the unit was right next door to the Wedding Estate in Kingsmill. The unit was nicely appointed and decorated with great views of the James River from the back deck. It was within walking distance of the Marina, Golf Course, Tennis Club, Resort Center and Marina Restaurant. A great place to stay!!」

「From the outside the place looked kind of bare and not very outstanding. However, the inside was fine. Co.fortable bed and nice accommodations. 」

「Everything as described and candidly even better than pics. Host takes pride in ownership and her attention to small details made our stay even better. 「The location of this condo was excellent. There is lots to do nearby. It is well equipped with everyday essentials. If you like your morning coffee as I do, bring your own mug. The Keurig is a small 6oz maker. Though this did not hinder my stay at all. The pool was just outside and very convenient. There is an ice machine for all to use, by the pool. 「Nice unit, great location, zero amenities on site. Had to go buy paper towels , napkins, dishwasher rabs, laundry on site but no detergent. Towels were meant for a small human!」

「The condo was beautiful, it was clean and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the pools and walking on the beach. We rented a golf cart and it made the trip. We could go into Cape Charles for the beach, shopping or pizza pick up and were only 7 minutes away on back roads out of the resort. Such a fun trip! 」

"The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for breakfast, some trying to open the emergency exit—which triggered a loud alarm. The real issue started after 7 a.m, when the emergency exit began functioning as a regular door. Guests continuously came in and out, causing the door to slam shut every 2–3 minutes. The loud banging made it impossible to rest. It was truly exhausting and disrupted our rest completely. Getting a good night’s sleep is one of the main reasons to stay at a nice hotel, and sadly, that didn’t happen here. All in all, this property is ok—but if you're assigned room 126, 128, or any room near the emergency exit, request a room change to avoid a similar experience. "
