“I bought hotel.com gift card, but Shrad Riverside did not accept. Unfortunately Shrad charged my credit card which I don't really agree.”

“Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent. Just be careful as the pub is popular and while there is plenty of parking for residents, it’s shared with the pub. And the……

The windows were restricted from being opened beyond two inches. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. On one evening, the hotel was completely out of ice.”

Would 100% stay again and a very reasonable price which included a lovely cooked full English breakfast/cereals and alternatives. Lovely location and car parking too. “Stayed here on a Thursday overnighter with my hubby, it doesn't look much from outside, but step inside and what a little gem! This place has just 3 rooms, ours was immaculate and I'm sure it was a higher standard than your average pub hotel. The decor was really nice, bed was super comfy, tea & coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was very nice and a decent size with a good electric shower. We had a delicious full cooked breakfast made for us the following morning. Free parking nearby (……

“We had such a lovely stay, the staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself was clean, warm and cozy, with a really inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! Our dishes were well-prepared and full of flavour. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the menu and the ingredients. Also they do the best cup of coffee!
