“We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property that is well taken care of. Our kids loved the yard and river when it wasn’t raining. There were tons of beds. There is only a tv in the bunk room. The rest were in the closets. Assuming it was to optimize sleeping space to accommodate more people. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. I wish it was in every Vrbo we stay at! “Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. Room and BR extremely clean and quiet. No need……

“This is a converted shed, so it is very small. That being said, it was comfortable and easy to manuver around in. The floor plan works and I was very impressed by that. Perfect for one or two adults. The loft bed was comfortable but you cannot sit up so be aware of that. I came in on a day where the weather dropped from 70's to 30's and woke up freezing. The fire place did not work, nor did the heater. However, the property manager was always quick to respond and did bring us a space heater. I……

“No problem with the house. It was clean and plenty of beds. There was a problem sleeping due to dogs barking (probably at cats) from 10:00 to 4:30 am. You might try the outdoor dog barking deterrent. It cost less than $30. Maybe a coffee table in the living room for drinks. Only one bedroom had a mirror so 4 women crowding one bathroom is not the best. Consider a cover for the patio coming summer.”

“Great little cabin in the hills. Just as described. Food and groceries nearby, yet far enough away from town to be in the country. 6 minutes from Mineral Wells Fossil Park. Really enjoyed it !!! ”
