“Great room in the oldest part of the house - very clean and well maintained. Bar, evening meal and breakfast were all excellent. Grounds were nice to walk a round.”

“The room and hallways/landing were outdated, dirty and in desperate need of renovation. Mattress was poor - worthy of a skip. It was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Supposedly this was a DELUXE double!!! If it wasn’t for the fact we were due at a party in Dorking that evening and didn’t arrive to the hotel until 6.30pm, we would have insisted on either another room or ideally our money back and moved to another hotel.”

“Clean, staff was so helpful and accommodating, breakfast was good, reasonable price, and filling. The bar served the perfect iced coffees, even tho it was not on the menu!”

“Our flight delayed and reached hotel at midnight. Although hotel could not provide 24 hours check in service, they are supportive and leave the key and clear information to us on counter so that we can quickly DIY and have a good sleep.”

“Vile place, had to check out early due to my son's pillow being covered in bugs. Urine stains all around the toilet. Service was none existent, stood at the bar for 15-20 min, receptionist could clearly see me waiting, had to ask to if I could be served for her to tell me to call the head chef to come pour me a pint. Never again”

“The White Horse Inn is exactly what we were looking. We stayed in the larger "fancy" room and it was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The bar in the inn was as it looked in the pictures - cozy and quaint. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was excellent.”
