"We booked this hotel because it was new. Everything was almost spotless. Front desk employees were friendly, be patient with Linda-- she appeared to be in training. Overall great and will return because all the minor issues were taken care quickly. 2 main things: we were not notified that there would be a band playing in the courtyard from 7 to 9 on Friday night. "This is a converted old house, so the floorboards are a bit squeaky and plumbing a bit old, but the room was clean and provided the basic necessities. I loved how close it was to the walking trail that took us along the coast and to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. But my favorite amenity has to be the parfait available for breakfast — fresh and absolutely delicious!!!"

"This is an exceptionally charming B/B. The views from the front parlors are breathtaking-we saw a number of sea otters and even a couple of sea lions. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach! About a half mile from the Monterey Bay aquarium. The daily breakfasts: outstanding. Highly recommend!"
