“The property is stunning, set in beautiful grounds, and the staff are lovely. They’re welcoming, accommodating, and were wonderful with my daughter, who is neurodivergent. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.”
“Nice and considerate treat from the hotel owners ( who are also a pair of married couple). Can't miss the delicious Chinese / Thai style dinner prepared by the kitchen!”
“Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened).”
“Had a wonderful visit here recently and have already booked for next year. Hotel was so clean, staff were friendly and helpful, the suite we stayed in was fabulous and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We felt very relaxed throughout our stay.”
“I can’t recommend The Wolfscastle Inn enough.. staff were soo attentive, welcoming and lovely! ( Seb/Richard and ladies) The food at the inn was delicious, breakfasts and dinners! ( nice one Seb and team) The family room was perfect, plenty of space and cosy and clean.. I’ll definitely be back! Perfect location and such a cosy pub to return too. Richard even provided us with free takeaway drinks for our journey home, so thoughtful. Such a great stay! 👌👌🎉”
“Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted.
Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us.
Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained.……
“Very pretty cottage. Close to the train station and taxis, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Foot Path (breath-taking views). An easy walk into Fishguard and restaurants, pubs, grocery store, etc.
We give the bed an “8” for comfort, but everything else was perfect or better! The owners left us a bottle of wine and some Welsh cookies, there was plenty of hot water, and the locals were friendly, relaxed and helpful.”
“Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance.
Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy.”
“An excellent hideaway place as advertised, also has a cottage for hire or glamping with a local well stocked shop.
Ideal location for all the beaches and attractions.
The morning breakfast was superb, a mix of cereals, fruit, continental style, as well as the full welsh cooked.
The room was everyone you could as for, cosy, relaxing with a lovely en-suite.
I would highly recommend this hotel, though I do want to revisit, so ignore this report.
Seriously a wonderful stay, and will be back. ”
“We stayed for four nights.
The very nice lady that owns the cottage, Nesta, had made cake for out arrival.
Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, downstairs a shower.
Kitchen was very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and there was a utility room with a freezer and washing machine.
If there was something missing, we didn't need it.
Living room was……
