“Perfect location at Beach marker 6. Very clean property and friendly and welcoming staff. A/C in our room was cold!! Perfect for taking a break from the heat. I had a first floor room with 2 queen beds! And I was very impressed with how comfy their beds were. Only things I did not like was that there was no microwave in the room (completely forgot to check this when booking), the restroom has a interesting sliding door that doesn’t completely shut and easily slides back open if you don’t close……

“The room was spacious for our family of 5, but could have used a good touch up of paint and a mop of the floors. The pots/pans were heavily used and could use an upgrade. Our kitchen sink leaked, assuming management knew of the issue because there was already a small bucket there to catch the water. We called maintenance and nothing came of it. It rained one day during our stay and we noticed a window leaking. Management came to assess (didn’t fix), but offered us a golf cart for the day to……

“I think they should replace their bedding, sheets etc. bring your own blanket if you’re easily cold. pool is chill and kid friendly.”

“Excellent location by the water, a city park across street good for taking a walk, a lot of restaurants around, less than 10 min driving to the miles of beach at the south side. Hotel room is very spacious and clean, will come back if I visit Port Aransas again.”

“We had an awful stay at Captain Quarters. Upon arrival, our room was not clean and there was sand in the bedding. The building is run down and not at all sound proof- we could hear every person that passed through the stairwell next to our room all day and night. The plumbing made a hissing sound throughout the building, and we heard it repeatedly as people showered. The worst part of our stay though was the heat. During our three day stay, our room never cooled down - even with the thermostat……

“This was the perfect little place for our stay while in Port A! Very nice and comfortable place. The a/c worked great. The bed was super comfortable. Condo was nicely decorated and super clean! Also having 2 spots for parking was great because we did get a golf cart! The couch bed definitely needs new mattress. We bought an egg crate topper and that helped a little, lol! We made it work. Great vacation.”
