“Nice location near beach, friendly staff”

“Very old hotel. horrible buffet dinner”

“Sehr freundliches und Hilfsbereites Personal! Schöner Innenhof mit Pool und gutes Spa Angebot. Hervorragende Küche und Service. Tolle geführte Ausflugsangebote (Balonfahrt, Sossusvlei mit Dünen und Sesriem Canyon).”

“Great place”

“the property has been recently renovated. The view towards the lagoon is wonderful and the surroundings are serene and quiet. Several good restaurants are within walking distance via a wooden boardwalk. The shopping are is about 20 minutes walk, so we took a taxi to get there.”

“The hotel is lovely, the rooms are amazing, right on the Chobe River. The food is delicious. But the excursions ended up hurting the experience a bit. The Chobe River is the border between Namibia and Botswana. We arrived via Botswana, and the only way to reach the hotel is by boat. And every time you leave the hotel, you need to take a boat and go through 2 immigration processes (entry and exit of each country), both on arrival and departure from the hotel. There's no way to do anything that……

“Lovely staff - friendly and helpful. The room was standard and basic. WiFi was super slow and when other guests were in the hotel it was basically 3G speeds. The location is not great. There is not much in the area and transport is difficult if you don’t have your own rental car.”
