“Was greeted on arrival without even being told who we were and shown immediately to our room. standard of decor was very impressive and the cleanliness was spot on. Breakfast in the morning was overly sufficient and was ta good start for the day. All in all would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine……
