“Conveniently located to local attractions. Beds were comfortable. 4 stars because could use some basic conveniences for travelers. Missing furniture/dresser options in bedrooms so no place to place luggage or clothing other than downstairs. Small things like paper towels and washcloths would be nice additions. The sliding patio door was easily opened by slightly jiggling the door, even when locked. Several areas around door frames had black smudged fingerprints which make for a less clean……

“Great value for the price! The house is as advertised and looks just like the pictures. Linens, bedding, towels were clean and like new. Beds were comfortable. Cookware, serving ware and appliances were like new as well. Overall the house was very well stocked. The only thing to suggest is, I wish there was some type of manual to tell us how to access WiFi, how the outdoor lights worked, where certain things were located, etc. so I didn’t have to notify the owners so much. “This host is a scammer. Gave wrong directions and then claimed to be double booked. Said we would be refunded but I had to open a fraudulent claim with VRBO while I was booking another hotel in such short notice.”

“This property was absolutely positively perfect for a birthday trip / weekend getaway for me and my friends. The home was immaculately clean and looked exactly like the pictures online. Someone commented about the location being in a sketchy neighborhood but there was NOTHING sketchy about the neighborhood. It is located in a middle class neighborhood with older homes that was very quiet. We had no issues with neighbors and were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly in the home with absolutely no……

“This home is not too big but has a nice layout. Although we didn’t travel with our dogs this time, many thoughtful touches have been provided for pet owners and pets. The house was very clean and had nice amenities. We had a problem with the key pad to unlock the door, which the host resolved very quickly. Highly recommend.”

“Enjoyed our stay. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and was convenient for exploring Austin. Indoor and outdoor living spaces were comfortable with the right amount of furniture. Showers were great. Amenities were as described - WiFi, TVs, A/C, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, coffee maker all worked well. We would stay here again.”

“Booked this place a month in advance and received confirmation via VRBO. Travelled for over 4 hours and upon arrival was told by owner/manager that place was double booked and cancelled my trip on the spot. Left scrambling to find another place at a time where nearly everything was full and unavailable. Received refund, but this behavior is totally unacceptable. Vrbo said that they would not tolerate double bookings and would handle.”

“The house us fine, half a duplex, spacious for just myself. And safe neighborhood for a single female. i much appreciated the nearby running trail & pet friendliness. The home smells of smoke - which i had read in previous review, so i arrived with air fresheners. The owner was apparently planning to rent the home out longterm rather than short, & asked me to let a realtor in to take pictures. As a short term renter, i did not appreciate having my stay interrupted. I had rented a home for……

“I was in Austin for a quick getaway and I’m glad I chose this listing. The host was very attentive, responsive and respectful. He even checked in to see how my first night went which was greatly appreciated. It was centrally located and I was able to walk everywhere in The Domain”
