“This was the 5th hotel in our travels through Virginia, and it was the only hotel we had some issues with. First, if you are not a smoker, make sure you request a non-smoking room. The first room smelled overwhelmingly like stale smoke. The staff was very helpful and found a non-smoking room for us on the 2nd floor. Even though it was a non-smoking room, there was definitely a hint of smoke (maybe from the vents?). We left the door open for awhile to get fresh air into the room. The bedding was……

“They lost my reservation at check-in and then offered me a room that looked like a scene of domestic violence. There was a no-smoking sign, but the entire property reeked of smoke. The carpet in the hallways had ground in dirt. I've seen trap houses that were better maintained. If it wasnt late and I knew my way around the area, no way would I have stayed. Expedia should be ashamed to partner with them! The ladies on staff were kind though.”
