We had a lovely stay at the Sakala - rooms were very clean, choice and food at restaurants was great, including the very extensive breakfast buffet! The basement rooms do have dehumidifiers in and can smell a bit damp, which was fine for a few days stay but may be worth upgrading for longer. Staff were all super attentive and friendly - would recommend to others!!

We had the best holiday at Sakala the resort was amazing as were the staff. Nothing was to hard a request for experience manager Demmy. I also had two lovely spa treatments which were lush

The hotel and the room itself were okay. The problem was the beach. The beach is really not suitable for swimming – it is very dirty. It’s a public beach, and on both sides there are water sports facilities. There are stray dogs everywhere, and you don’t feel safe at all. On top of that, the swimming pool was also very dirty and not properly cleaned. Furthermore, the restaurant and the staff at the poolside restaurant seemed completely overwhelmed. It took them a very long time to come, and the portions were so small that you would have to order two dishes right away.

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. They were so good with our kids and engaging. Demmy and Tiua at breakfast so lovely. Loved the egg station chef Kuma who remembered my order of my omelette every morning. The two bedroom suite was cleaned beautifully and so big and comfortable to stay in. Definitely recommend this resort.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the infinity pool and it wasn't too busy. Breakfast was lovely and lunch and dinner menus were nice aswell. Staff were lovely and kids enjoyed the mocktail making. I would recommend and hopefully be back.

Perfect start of our holiday

Amazing place that had it all and some more. Never stayed at a luxury resort like that in Bali before, it was definitely worth the money. The food was great, staff very friendly and accommodating. Service is 5 out of 5 stars. We didn’t wanted to leave the hotel, it had everything we needed. +++++

People in tourism in Indonesia are wonderful so we’re in Sakala resort . Breakfast was great. Room was clean and modern decorated although a bit worn out . Pools were great . But hotel is not exactly beachfront as advertised

Excellent and friendly staff always willing to help and make you feel special around the resort. There are fair few options for the kids to enjoy allowing one to relax by the pool. The property and breakfast buffet was really good. I'd recommend for families as a getaway its away from the usual Bali lifestyle areas. Convenient shuttles to their private beach and also Shopping centres through the day. The benoa beach is just across and recommend for water sport activities. You can also order food delivery to your rooms.

Party on the Pool

Me and my girlfriend had a great time in the apartment , the beach and the pool. We enjoyed bringing our own appetizer and wine to the pool, and music as well. We spent lovely days in Sakala. The appointment was very well equipped and we were cocking freely Will visit the place again on next visit to Bali

It was a lovely place to stay, loved the pool. Showers had grime in corners and needs proper cleaning. Kettle was leaking out and the replacement was the same. No proper bar fridge/fridge, thus was not able to store medication that needed to be kept in a fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and resonable price.

The hotel was nice and the staff very helpful and friendly, the hotel was very quiet as with Bali at the moment, I have my reservations regarding the amount of sunbeds around the pool if the hotel was full as there were not many. The breakfast was average as sometimes there was not certain items available, however this may be due to the few guests that were staying.

The staff are very friendly and do their best to provide a good service. Unfortunately the hotel is old and needs a renovation. As an example the mosaic tiles in the pool are missing and breaking away. The spa jets in the pool cabana's dont work. The fridge in the room didnt close properly. If the hotel was renovated it would be excellent. Great sized rooms, good staff, the strong aircon in the room was a great.

Very luxurious

We had a fantastic 7-day stay at Sakala resort in a 2-bedroom villa with a private pool. The villa was very luxurious - the illy coffee pod machine was a great extra touch. But beyond the villa, it was the exceptional staff that made our holiday memorable. Special thanks to Mr Denny. I'm not sure what his job description is, but he is everywhere and does everything to help make stay special. Then there is Ko May, a chef in the breakfast buffet who greeted us daily by name with a smile and cooked our eggs to order. Bali is up and running, but not yet as busy as we have experienced pre-covid. In my view, a great time to visit.

Perfect resort style especially for family. All the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They all go above and beyond and spared no effort to help. The breakfast was plentiful and very rich in flavoured and options, kids loved the giant chocolate fondue and the endless array of fruits and the like. The swimming pool is massive, there are a few waterfalls and it is has a lot of shade so on a hot sunny day, it is ideal. The area around the resort is full of minimarts and restaurants. The property is beautifully designed, can benefit from some repairs here and there like any busy resort. It’s not truly a beach front resort as the private beach is accessible across the road. It has its own beach near by and there is a shuttle bus to and from. Special thanks to Demmy and the entire kitchen staff for the kind welcoming atmosphere they created every morning despite dealing with the endless queue of morning guests. And special thanks for the folks who kept the rooms nice and tidy! All in all, thank you for a spectacular stay!

Consider somewhere else

The room was full of insects and not clean. My son after sitting on the sofa started itching and once they took the cover out and replaced it with regular sheets he was able to sit.It’s a shame because it could be better. The beautiful details around the facility suggest it may had better days.I left after one night and lost my non- refundable payment. If you are booking this hotel don’t pay up in advance. There are many beautiful hotels in Bali with true Bali hospitality ,this is not one of them. The breakfast was ok, the overall stay for one night was not comfortable. I have requested that they pay attention to my complaints ( waited in the first night 3 hrs with back and forth msgs but saw the manager the following morning around 10 or 11)I also requested that they make sure it does not happen to someone else. I have suggested that they refund my payment because it will just assure me they are willing to make changes. The manager refused as it is policy. To me it only means they can’t do real changes.

Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft jedoch an manchen Stellen etwas in du Jahre gekommen. Frühstück top. Restaurant okay Personal war super freundlich wollte allerdings immer Veranstaltungen verkaufen. Die Bar war super Getränke sehr lecker. Und im Pool natürlich ein Highlight. Für unseren Start in den Urlaub war es super.
