「Good location for walk to Poole Speedway. Plenty of parking for motorbike. Staff all helpful. Room I had was a twin. Plenty of room, clean and a good shower. Quiet as at the back of the pub. Nice spacious pub with outdoor seating area. Stayed on the first Thursday of the month which is a quiz night for the RNLI. Great charity. Although disappointed that I could not have a meal as it was full for the quiz. Breakfast set me up for the ride home. Would stay again.」

Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom.」

「Older property showing some wear and tear. Check in wasn’t too great, as we waited over 20 minutes with no one at the desk and were continually told they were having a busy day. While that’s okay, an option to leave our bags would have been nice. The staff acted a bit annoyed (two people separately) when I asked to check in, but the manager who eventually came was kind and helpful. The room was very warm (early August) with no cross breeze. 「Lovely room - great use of space, beautiful comfortable bed with excellent bedding had brilliant night sleep. So much storage, excellent tea tray with everything you could require. Bathroom was really nice loved the shower and separate toilet, plenty of toiletries and towels. Breakfast at the pub next door was lovely with plenty of choice and being on the high street was close to all the amenities. Only very minor detail was the parking was a bit tight but small small detail. Will be back」

「Aside from the location and proximity to a really wonderful beach, this was an incredibly disappointing 4* hotel. I can only assume the star rating is somehow tied to the prime location as there is little else to write home about here. The family room being the worst of all - terribly dated, still using a plastic shower curtain & a dilapidated balcony that stank of sewage. I don’t know if this is unavoidable due to rotting seaweed nearby or just the unfortunate positioning of some of the rooms...

「Nice welcome from Yas. Room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. A/C in room was much appreciated. Tea, coffee making facilities and welcome biscuits a nice touch. Staff friendly. Free parking is available on 1st come basis with 5 slots available, otherwise it's street parking nearby. Only downside of our allocated 1st floor room was being at front of property and road traffic noise wasn't great for sleeping. Good location for walking to town centre and local amenities.」
