「Stayed here on our way to st Ives to break the journey from York last week We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay on our way back from st Ives to York!! Once again we had a lovely relaxing overnight stay, lovely food and thanks to all the staff for looking after us. 」

「Basic small room with ultra small ensuite on 2nd floor, no lift for heavy luggage. Bed reasonably comfortable although just big enough for two Adults. Sink in Ensuite barley big enough to wash hands and water pressure to high so splashes over floor. Just passable for an overnight stop, but would suggest a larger room if you value space to move freely. Breakfast brought to your room which was a bit of a squeeze but it was cooked well and was thoughly enjoyed.」

「I wasn't there for long but check-in was super quick and easy, and the staff were lovely and helpful. When guests a few doors down came back at 5am and were loud (for ages!), I rang the reception and they were up in minutes to resolve the situation. Thank you, I really appreciated it!」

「Front desk staff was outstandingly friendly and yet professional. Room was adequately furnished, although a less saggy couch, some artwork and air conditioning on top floor would be a great improvement. Breakfast was wonderful!」
