Nice home with high ceilings, bright feel, and great service
Description of the property was very accurate, but, I would suggest a tweak. “Technically” there are 5 bedrooms, w/ 1 bedroom outside the main home, which was likely intended for a staff member, who could have somewhere to rest w/o interfering with the main household. If travelling as a group, the positioning of this room is inconvenient as its locked off from the main house. Listing should read 4 bedrooms + 1 outside room with shower, so it’s clear.
Great location, not too far from beaches that were a 7-15 min drive. There were a few stores that were walking distance. Relatively quiet neighbourhood and we felt safe and protected.
Property manager, Jana, was a pleasure to deal with. She was there to greet us when we arrived, helped us get settled, friendly, quickly responded to any concerns and made great recommendations for nearby activities.
AREAS OF CONCERN/IMPROVEMENT
o Maintenance issues (i.e. no hot water for 1st 2 days, jacuzzi not functional for 7/10 days, electrical issues, low toiletries, etc) - when brought to Jana’s attention, they were actioned as quickly as possible, but these are regular maintenance issues that should have been taken care of before our arrival
o WIFI issues – WIFI went down for 2 days, not the owner’s fault, but no landline that we could use in case of emergency nor a TV where we could tune into the news.
o Other improvements: needs air conditioning, TV & pool.
Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this property.
