“The room was ok and the location was ok. But I didn't read the email that said to bring your own whatever. I needed more towels and toilet paper. I thought it was an actual hotel. It had shampoo and body wash in the shower. I guess that's what it was. I could barely read the label but it didn't matter anyway because it was empty. Not reading the email was my fault, but I didn't see it and wasn't expecting to get one. The check in at 4 pm and NO early check-in was a pain. We might stay there……

“When we arrived check in was very easy. The property was very clean and the inside temperature was very comfortable. The property was pet friendly and we enjoyed our stay along with our dog. We stayed several nights. The home is in a great location close to the Outer Banks. It was very peaceful and quiet and an overall relaxing stay. The Host is very friendly and answered any questions. We definitely would return to stay here again in the future .”

“It was beautiful and spotless. It had everything you needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with every type of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. It had high end appliances small and large. I was able to park in the garage that had beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board and beach games. The host was quick to respond about questions I had prior to our arrival. It was quiet and literally a 5 minute drive to the beach. I highly recommend. Plus pet friendly.”

“Our stay at the Relax Shack came during an unexpected heatwave. Having this comfy, spacious two-bedroom house allowed our 21 year old daughter, our dog, and US to spread out and chill out without getting on each others nerves. The house provided everything needed to prepare our meals and the large deck was lovely-when we managed to avoid the heat. I picked up a nail in my tire and asked our hosts, Amber and Brett for suggestions for a reliable garage to repair/replace it. They suggested a place……
