"Property has been there for many years. However, the rooms look like they were recently remodeled. Nicely painted and bathrooms look newly remodeled. New flooring as well. We had room on the third floor. Was quiet and had two queens. The view looked out towards the beach. We could see the beach and ocean between the buildings. I’d stay here again."

"Excellent flat! Clean, gorgeous views, and great communication with owner. It’s a bit off the beaten path, which is great for quiet, but some people would not find it walkable to shops and restaurants because of the uphill climb. Bonus was a little park down the street to sit and watch the sunset. "

"It gets 5 stars not because its a 5-star motel (motel not hotel) it gets 5-stars because location wise and time of year it was a great value and reasonable overall price for an outer sunset place to stay during new years. Walking to java beach every morning brings me back"
