"Nice hotel, room very spacious and had tea/coffee facilities, unlimited hot water, bed vet6 comfortable, hotel quiet so great nights sleep. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we prefer to eat out so can’t comment on food etc. spa/swimming had to be booked prior to being used and we didn’t use it as much as we might have had it been open to use swimming without booking. There was o WiFi in the rooms and it was a bit hit and miss in shared areas so that was disappointing. One complaint if you could call it that was lack of toilet tissue we were only given one roll and no spare left, a minor issue but a basic necessity. The charge for using hotel car park was a disappointment but overall we enjoyed our stay and will return."

"Staff were very friendly, both reception and cleaners. Whole hotel very clean. Ideally sited for station and city centre. Toiletries were nice. "Large room with modern ensuite. My companion used the gym. Let down by poor breakfasts. On the first day I tried the vegetarian option, which included lots of tinned button mushrooms, and tattie scones swimming in oil. My companion's full breakfast wasn't freshly cooked and had been kept warming on the plate for some time. On the final day he said that it was fresher but the ingredients weren't very good quality. On the second day I avoided the cooked breakfast and had muesli, but unfortunately it was too sweet for me so I didn't finish it. On the third day I had porridge, which was OK. I stay in a lot of hotels and the quality of the breakfast is important, so I won't stay here again."
