"The hotel was lovely. Just outside the old center of Lucca, a short walking distance. The breakfast was really good. The room was nice (the windows were small on our floor even though we paid for a larger room). Overall, it is worth not worrying about staying in the ZTL. "Location, reception area, staff, breakfast, buildings, etc were all fantastic. Only our room (Diana side) felt a little out of date. The bathroom was great - modern fixtures, etc - but the furnishings in the sleeping area looked out of the 60's, the mattresses were very soft (double bed had two single mattresses), and there was no fridge. Our window also opened onto what looked like a private courtyard. There was AC, however, and no ambient noise at night, so we still had a great night's sleep. All in all, it's a great deal for the price."
