「What a beautiful property and such great staff. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Alex received us great and even provided us with a welcome coconut drink. So refreshing! The waitresses were so sweet. Anastasia was great, as were the two other young ladies! Breakfast was awesome every morning. The hotel does offer dinner but we were out in the city hanging out and did not have the pleasure of joining other guests. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy another stay. With sincere gratitude, The...

「I love the owners. It was very welcoming and made friends with the other people staying there.」

「Everything was just amazing. Laurie is a fantastic host and the attention to detail is just amazing. Little flowers everywhere and the breakfasts where different every day but off the scale good. It rained almost the entire time but still it was so beautiful and we had a fan on the patio and a nice couch. Wonderful all around」

「A little off the unbeaten path. But superb in every way. Breakfast fit for a king.」

「Precioso hotel en la playa. Personal muy servicial y amable. Zona de la piscina preciosa. Puedes ver fauna local en sus instalaciones.」

「Angelo was so helpful with after hours check in. This place is adorable. The room had a kitchen and that is a great addition if you are staying longer than a night. The pool was nice and refreshing. There is an outdoor sitting space outside your room that is nice as well.」

「Wirklich toll hier. Alle sehr aufmerksam. Die Häuser sind sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden.」

「Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.」

「The staff at Hotel Umami were fantastic! They were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable. Their excellent service made all the difference. Highly recommended!」

「Great hostel」

「Our favorite place Beach front, with all amenities needed when traveling with the family. Ideal for kids」

「Our rental was incredible and spacious.」

「Our family stayed for a second time at the Kukula Lodge and it again exceeded expectations. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are extremely well-kept, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful and delicious . . . and the lodge is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. To top it off, the price is very reasonable- what more could you want? It was truly a pleasure to stay at Kukula Lodge and we will certainly be back!」

「Friendy staff, beautiful beachfront, delicious food」
