“Charming little apartment in lovely Highlands right across the bay from Sandy Hook. Walking distance to lots of stuff and Carla and Ken are great hosts!”

“A longer stay would make more worthwhile Convenient to walk to restaurant Nice amenities Prompt response from host”

“Picture of the bedroom was not as depicted in the ad, big gap under door entrance to the room, box spring mattress missing lowering the bed extremely low, shower curtain fell down even before I got a chance to use it should be anchored on both sides. Positives were the hvac was great, the bathroom nice and very easy to access with a code.”

“This was a great place to stay. Easy access to the City. Great neighbourhood. We really appreciated the care and detail that was given to the property. The amenities were terrific. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend.”

“Maison très agréable, propre et très bien placée. Bus pour Manhattan à moins de 50m, plusieurs commerces à proximité : boulangerie, restaurants, kombini... L'hôte répond rapidement à chaque message et est très sympathique. Seul petit bémol, l'isolation phonique. Comme souvent dans ce genre de maisons, l'isolation phonique n'est pas au top et on entend bien la rue, les voisins, les avions... Si vous y êtes sensible cela peut être un problème. “Great place to stay and close to New York!”

“My reservation was canceled the same day. It was a terrible experience”

“Great apartment, wasn’t 100% aware it was a second and third floor but the top floor was huge Bottled water available and easy to get to trains (HBLR) and buses into Exhange place and then to NYC Some things a bit high on the kitchen for my 5ft wife but all great. Neighbourhoods a bit noisy at times but well worth a stay”

“Very niiace”

“We like to feel at home when we travel, so an apartment/hotel with a full kitchenette is our choice. And the Court Square fit the bill. Conveniently located across the street from the Court Square subway hub, it was a snap to travel into Manhattan or Brooklyn in minutes. The staff was super responsive and helped out when a we needed an extra chair or towels. We were comfortable, but the large room is a little cold in terms of decor (all black and white, only one piece of stark abstract art……

“Upon arriving the host contacted us to say the address we thought we were coming to was not the actual address and gave us a different location about a 1/2 mile away. When we arrived at that location the bed sheets had stains, a hole in the bottom sheet, and stained couch. We felt uncomfortable with the address change and condition of bedding, etc. Within 30 minutes we contacted VRBO to ask how to cancel and they said they would contact the host immediately to let him decide. We had some……

“On arrival the door to the unit was ajar. Not sure why it was left open. That said, the place was lovely. A damper was put on the trip on checkout because the host is harassing us; accusing us of smoking in the unit and it is simply not true. As a result of this experience we will not stay here again.”
