Room was 1 floor above ground level right next to a Terminal entrance. Car horns all night long along with Police Sirens and the Police yelling at the driver's of the cars picking up or dropping off at the terminal. Absolutely no sleep. For the money charged for 1 night's stay, Absolutely worthless.
On the surface an ok hotel with a different kind theme. We booked a room with a view and paid extra money for it, our view was a brick building and a cisco truck. After mentioning it to staff all we received was argument and aggravation with no solution offered. So don’t spend any extra money booking a view.
The fun did not stop after our stay as we learn the Hotel charged us again for an already paid room, curious enough it was a les expensive rate than I paid Hotels.com but you win some you lose some.
The food is terrible for the money at the hotel resteraunt so skip that if you can.
I have been using hotels.com for years to book rooms on business and personal trips and this is the only bad experience I have had with billing issues or getting what I paid for so this is the first time I have felt I needed to leave a bad review to warn others.
Cool 60s décor with easy access to JFK airport and parking. Comfortable beds but could use better reading lights. If you get a room with a view it's fabulous but lower level rooms can look out onto cement walls and traffic.
Amazing hotel and all very new!
Room was clean and a perfect size.
Check in and check so easy
Great food and drink options in the hotel so no need to venture into airport terminal,
Roof top pool area is a bonus
Loved the hotel. Beautiful inside in contrast to the drab JFK airport. The front desk could be a bit more efficient in checking us in, but outside of that it’s a definite place to stay when you need an overnight.
lost power for two hours without warning or compensation.
Telephone did not work the entire stay
tried to call and email before arrival and no one answered the phone nor responded to email
Really fun hotel in JFK airport. No noise from the air traffic.
Interesting architecture.

Disliked: Staff & service
I booked an overnight stay here 3 month ago to easy my AM overseas flight. Due to covid issues, my flight was canceled and I didn’t need the room. They refused to refund me, even though I wasn’t even in the country. I tried through Orbitz as well as direct contact and was told my room is non refundable. Zero compassion for Covid hardships, and would rather just take a persons money. I planned on using this hotel a lot in the future and would have spent a lot more but they’re a bunch of crooks and I’ll never return.
The retro 1960s "kitsch" is fun, and I am a big fan of TWA.....but it is very expensive for what is provided.
To start, no automatic doors at entrances.....making it difficult for travelers with large pieces of luggage.
Our room had a TV mounted to the side wall so that to exit my side of the bed required repositioning the TV and contorting myself on strange ways. Lighting in our guest room was poor. They are also clearly understaffed ( but I guess that is par for the course these days.
This will be a great place to stay on e all the kinks are ironed out
Make sure to visit all parts of the hotel. Nuggets in every corner. Please close the shades unless your an exhibitionist!

Convenience of being at airport far outweighed by the barely existing amenities: Limited food choices, over-priced and limited wine choices, non-existant breakfast, corners cut at every opportunity from quality of rugs to lack of closet space to barely useable in-room desk, safe, and almost non-existant seating…. and the list could go on.
The hotel took my breath away and exceeded my expectations. I understand that they're
still working out some glitches, so upon my return trip, I'd like to have AC in the Connie, healthier food options, and more drawer space (under the room desk perhaps) for long term guests (we visited for 4 days).
Room did not have coffee maker and refrigerator, no place to store clothes and hand towels and bath mat were not provided, when we call and request towels, they did not bring until we called again and they brought another set of bath towels and not what we asked for after 1 hour from initial call
