“Quiet and Comfort. Close to main street”

“First of all, the guy working the counter was not very hospitable. I am hearing challenged and he was hardly audible. Secondly, since I am a guest at your facility, how about stadning and greeting me with, "Hello. How may I help you?" Not very friendly, spoke with a heavy accent and overall had a devil-may-care attitude. As for the room, the deadbolt lock on the door would not lock. I intended to contact the front desk for another room; however, I stepped outside and checked that the door would……

“The place was awful. It looks like a run down building with shady people lurking around. It is nothing like the picture”

“Bathroom sink faucet leaked terribly, to the point that it flooded the floor. The tub's paint was peeling and there was no bath soap in the bathroom. Very shady neighborhood, didn't feel safe in the parking lot or the lobby.”

“Lovely home, centrally located. We encountered extreme weather that created a problem but the owner was very quick to to find a solution. I do plan on staying again ”

“This is a wonderful property that will comfortably sleep 4-5. The house is very clean and very well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, etc. The beds were obviously newer and very comfortable! The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. There are grocery stores, fast food, restaurants, and anything you might need within a 5-10 min drive from the house. We stayed here while attending two shows at the Portsmouth Pavilion. The location was perfect. Easy 10 minute drive to the pavilion. ……

“very clean inside with hospitable amenities. Host was VERY accessible and responsive. Maybe not a location that all would like as on a crowded street, but the neighborhood was interesting, historical and active community events. ”

“This property has a great location- super easy to walk to the ferry to Norfolk Waterside (and Nauticus), easy to walk to the historic Portsmouth and High Street. Parking at the property was easy. There was plenty of space for our family to gather and also enjoy a little time apart. We felt comfortable and relaxed. The coffee station was thoughtful. Very responsive and pleasant host. Thank you!”

“Scrupulously clean but smaller than expected and more an air b&b than a VRBO. It was in an older neighborhood and not at all luxurious which is why we always use VRBO. Parking for two cars was also difficult. Finally the host was VERY slow to respond and not at all friendly. He did not provide access instructions until check in time. We also had to ask separately for the WiFi information. We will not stay there again. ”

“The cleaning could have been a little more better just a lot of dust around. Also the house had a smell to it like moisture. The outside furniture needed to be clean as well. The master bedroom bed had a lean to it which cause you to roll into the middle of the bed. Most of the games was broke or missing pieces. But overall it was in a convenient location and we went to see family and friends so we didn’t spend much time in the home.”
