“Quiet and Comfort. Close to main street”

“Arrived at check in time and was told they still had to clean the room and once we were able to check in. The floor was still dirty hadn't been swept or vacuumed. The sink and the toilet and bath tub still had hair and dirt on them. No cleaning was done. Had a wet wash cloth with black stuff all over it. The bath tub didn't drain well. Very disappointed for the price. Unacceptable”

“Overall, this COULD BE a great rental if the owner cared for the house and improved communication. It took me four months to get a response to revise our stay dates but we were finally able to about a month before our stay so it worked out. There were no hand towels in the downstairs bathroom nor hand soap. And no paper towels. But still those were things we could deal with. Our biggest problems were the fact the AC unit for the second and third floors didn’t work, and I mean the thermostat was……

“Great property not too far from the beaches! Between the pool, hot tub, mini golf, and theater room, our family had plenty to do at the house when we weren't out exploring Virginia Beach. Owner was quick to respond to any questions or needs as well.”

“It met our needs, but wasn't impressive. I was afraid to put my crawling baby on the floor because the carpets were disgusting. Every single corner of every rug was curled up and very easy to trip over. It reeked of Marijuana but I think that was because the people in the other unit smoked on the porch 24/7. The front porch, which belongs to the other unit, is literally right outside of one of the bedrooms, so if the curtains aren't closed all the way you can easily see in and out. I'm pretty……

“This is a wonderful property that will comfortably sleep 4-5. The house is very clean and very well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, etc. The beds were obviously newer and very comfortable! The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. There are grocery stores, fast food, restaurants, and anything you might need within a 5-10 min drive from the house. We stayed here while attending two shows at the Portsmouth Pavilion. The location was perfect. Easy 10 minute drive to the pavilion. ……
