"We just got back from an really great trip to Playa Flamingo. This penthouse was perfect in every way,,,very clean, the king bed was really comfortable, amazing views, amazing pool and private little beach. The unit was quiet and peaceful. We could walk to anything we may need, plus easy drive to everything. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends."

"This property was kept spotless! The people working on property were absolutely amazing! They were kind, helpful, and genuine. We ate on property most meals and enjoyed all of them immensely. The resort is small and quaint and felt very much like a large family with a wonderful beach to walk on adjacent to the property and a large pool with swim up bar to cool down in. Can’t wait to go back!"

"It was so much fun to see cows on the beach! The room we booked was huge and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the bunk beds and the privacy curtains. The kitchen and living space was nicely equipped. All the nature around the hotel and the set up of the hotel is relaxing and lovely. We did encountered a plumbing issue during our stay that caused our unit to not have water for several hours for two days. The staff were helpful regarding this and accommodate us to shower in a different room. Not necessarily convenient but was not their fault and responded appropriately to the problem. The two restaurants had very similar food options and it was just alright. There were too many flies during meals and that was a nuisance. Staff were friendly at the restaurant as well. The pool and common areas look old and in my opinion could have more maintenance. We saw the pools being cleaned in the morning but the cement looks stained and many insects fall in the water throughout the day that could be cleaned for better enjoyment of the pool. "

"From the moment Bilitis opened the door to show us into the property, we were in love with this house! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the whole house is comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The views are even more spectacular than the photos - waking up to wide open views of the ocean and resting on the patio while watching the sunset every night is exactly what we needed on this vacation! The staff keeps the house spotless - they clean the pool first thing in the morning, and they came to clean the house while we were out during the day. Bilitis went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable - when we had any minor issues, she responded immediately and fixed it! She even had ice cold drinks waiting for us on our arrival. I was so grateful for help with the laundry - Bilitis even said “it’s not a vacation if you have to do laundry” - the first time we handed over our laundry bag and they brought everything back the next day washed and folded. A couple days later, we were surprised to see that they took the laundry bag without even being asked, which was so thoughtful. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and have tons of storage space (which was not the case in other places we stayed on this vacation). We kept doors closed so there were no insects inside the house, but we saw lots of crabs and iguanas on the street leading up to the house! I would come back to Costa Rica just to stay in Villa Fugata again! Five stars!!!"

"After reading the reviews we had pretty high expectations for this property and we were NOT disappointed! Keith’s unit at the Palms is very spacious and well-kept. Keith also kept open lines of communication with us for the whole trip and between Keith and the 24 hour resort concierge if there was literally “anything” we needed it was taken care of immediately. There is a little loft area on top of one of the bedrooms that our 10 year old son absolutely loved. There is a bakery truck and a seafood truck that comes a couple of times per week and we able to try both. The bakery truck is great and has lots of pastries, breads etc. For transportation getting around the resort has a shuttle bus, and they also have golf cart rentals (about 65usd per day) however we opted to use Uber mainly for the short trips which was cost effective, quick, and we didn’t have to drive at all. For transportation to and from the airport I would recommend going through Keith or the resort, they will make sure that you have a driver ready and waiting. For your stay at the resort and in Costa Rica in general I would recommend getting WhatsApp as most calls and messaging are conducted there. We also got Esims through Airalo and 1 gig of data was plenty for the week. I’m running out of room but the highlight was having the pleasure of dealing with Keith who will ensure that you are 100% happy. You are in good hands with this host and I would not hesitate to go back! Pura Vida!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your condo. The view was spectacular and location was great. Lots of small shops and restaurants within walking distance. Easy parking and security on property, which made 3 women in a foreign country feel very safe. The beach chairs and cooler was great as well! Thanks for a great stay in Costa Rica!"
