Republic Hotel with Pool

"The hotel at first glance looks new and nice. However, it does have its quirks. Upon first entering our room, we discovered that the main light switch didn't work--not a big problem since there were other lights in the room. The shower creaked like you would fall through the floor of it at any point during your shower. Also, the bathroom was SO TINY. There was barely enough room to close the door without hitting the edge of the toilet. The staff was friendly. The only complaints that we really had were that the pool area was so echo-y that you could hardly hear what your family was saying. Plus, we had to ask for the lights in the pool area to be turned on. When we first went in there, the place was completely dark. Overall a decent stay for us, but we probably won't be staying here again. *One thing that I feel is important to note is that we did notice was that a car in the parking lot had gotten broken into overnight. This hotel is right behind a gas station/food locations and across the street from apartments, so there's ALOT of foot traffic in the area at all hours of the day/night."

"Beautiful Hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Paid for an upgrade for breakfast and was told by the hotel that they do not have breakfast. Gonna ask for a refund on that."

"Parking was safe and well lit, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and included fruit, muffins, eggs and biscuits and gravy."

"This is an older Hotel, but kept up pretty good. They have a good breakfast which includes biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, about 10 different types of cereal etc.."

"None of the usb connections worked and several plug ends didn’t work as well. Hard to keep everything charged with only two plugs working."

"Water heater did not work. Staff worked with Expedia and colluded to not give me a refund. No privacy with the rooms. Exterior stairs for the units."

"The employee that checked us in was so nice and helpful. Very clean and up to date property. The pool was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of variety! The one negative comment I have is it’s super close to a train so that’s loud. Otherwise 10/10 would stay again "
