"It is not very common to find the perfect hotel; I give Riviera Maya a 99%. We had the privilege of not only enjoying the adult only hotel where we stayed at but all of the other five hotels at Riviera Maya. Food was excellent, amazingly clean; but what made the experience unique was the staff. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and doing it all with great attitude. From the ladies that cleaned our room, to the man who helped with the TV, the women who resetted the safe for us, the restaurant workers, the ladies who helped with the restaurant reservations, the ladies who booked the tours, those that worked at the gift shops, those at the reception; so many...all with one goal: make our stay the best enjoyable experience. Visiting during the World Cup, seeing the celebration as Mexico won their game made it special. And yes, the daily one hour concerts at night at the Riviera adults only sealed each night with great music. In my specific case, as I am on a special diet, even the chefs did their best to accommodate my restrictions and I enjoyed some delicious food. I would definitely recommend the Barcelo hotels!
