「We stayed for 9 nights and there was not a day without some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. The staff is very very polite and friendly, but they lack professionalism and training. Some servers in the restaurants don’t speak very good English, so that can be an area of improvement. The overall impression is that the whole operation is out of tune. Strong management and review of all aspects of operations is recommended. Alila is not on par with the rest of the Mayakoba hotels.」

「Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening...

「This was a beautiful resort. However, the food and any other necessities were very expensive. The concierge said they would help us with an excursion, but did not. I asked several times. It was very hard to get any information. I will not be back. I would spend your money elsewhere!」

「We enjoyed our stay over there, Staff was really helpful and friendly, the nights entertainment shows were amazing, food in rest La hacienda was absolutely perfect that we went twice, food at La vaqueria was not good at all neither in the Italian Restaurant that I do not remember the name now, the buffets restaurant were good, a lot of options, the service was great and finally I think the swimming pools could be a little cleaner that they were, but they were ok overall」

「The hotel is beautiful and the pools were very clean and well maintained. The grounds were very well kept and they attempted to clean up the sargassum best they could given the circumstances. However, the food was far below expectation. We frequently struggled to find something to eat and items on the buffet were cold despite being there the second that it opened. Room service was sparse with only a few items to choose from- but they have an excellent app for ordering and seeing what was going...
