“The property was exactly like listed. And even more beautifully decorated than the photos.”

“CARL WAS AN EXCELLENT HOST. THE CABIN IS AMAZING. ALL THE AMENITIES YOU WILL EVER NEED FOR YOUR STAY. CARL WAS THERE ANY TIME WE NEEDED HIM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CABIN. THE SCHUMPERT'S”

“Extremely clean! We wondered if it had recently been renovated bc it’s so clean. The host was extremely helpful and responded quickly. (We had trouble with getting it unlocked, but he solved it quickly.) I would recommend for a quiet, restful getaway.”

“Our second time here. We love the place and it’s great to see the area recover from Helene from two years ago.”

“The bottom bathroom did not have soap or shampoo. Come prepared.”

“If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy mountain getaway for one or two people this hit the spot. Beautiful and rustic but the cabin had everything we needed for a few days. Great views from the porch. Kitchen was stocked for basic cooking needs, including olive oil and some basic spices. Bed was comfy and cabin was clean. It’s a bit of a drive into Asheville but worth the rustic digs. Innkeepers gave great driving directions and instructions for our stay.”

“This little cabin is awesome. It’s clean. It feels secluded. I would not recommend it for someone who has bad knees. The steps going up to the cabin are steep. But that’s the mountains for you.”

“We loved our stay at 4 Lucky Ducks! There was never a dull moment between the slide, fishing, ping pong, and enjoying the amenities of the Riverbend community. The kitchen was well stocked which is huge for us since we prefer cooking most meals when traveling. Highly recommend staying here!”

“Great time at the lake - very private and quiet. This is a good place to unwind, unplug and relax. Host has simple rules and no complicated instructions. Pet friendly and close to the lake. Looking forward to coming back.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As repeat guests we appreciate the upgrades that the new owners have done. New furniture, kitchen utensils, dish ware and pots and pans made a huge improvement. We have already booked for next year. Incredible views, lake access and a comfortable place make this one of our favorite get aways.”

“The property was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was very clean and well-organized. The hot tub was an awesome bonus! All features and amenities mentioned in the listing were properly included and functioned without issue. I look forward to booking this cabin again in the future!”

“This was a beautiful cabin! The river was awesome and the firepit area was perfect! The driveway was challenging though.”

“Our family vacation was great! The best part was the easy access to the water, kayaks and paddle board. We loved the location and would definitely return again. A couple of suggestions…..the kitchen could use a deep scrub and the downstairs bathroom could use some TLC. Also, I might suggest some stair treads on both sets of stairs……..great house and wonderful vacation. There were 14 of us ages 2 weeks to 75 years old and we loved every minute of the week!”

“Bill maintains a great cabin. We really enjoyed our time here.”

“Very nice relaxing place. I enjoyed being away from everything just to relax. Host are exceptional. Will be back.”

“Great for relaxing”

“A wonderful place to stay with family”

“Very nice, clean cabin, especially loved the deck in the back. Loved this cabin and will try to rent it again if I get back to this part of the country. Jorge was great when I had a question on a Sunday morning he immediately returned my call. Liked the fact that it also had a washer and dryer. The only thing I regretted was I didn't get to see a bear! :)”

“The cabin is well appointed with W/D, fireplace, TV, hot tub, kitchen supplies, etc. Everything in the cabin is in working order. For a "fishing cabin", it was a good value for the price. It is not in a great place to view Lake Lure as it is at the tip of a small finger and there is still reconstruction going on from 2024 Hurricane Helene. The inside walls need to be cleaned (dusty) but otherwise the cabin was pretty clean. It was perfect for a 2 night rest up as part of a long cross……
