「This property is great for families. We had a room on the main floor that opened onto our patio and a good sized swimming pool. We used this a lot with the seven year old. The beds were comfy and had nice pillows and bedding. The breakfast in the Lakes restaurant was generous and tasty, and the staff were very obliging. The rooms were clean and everything worked. We would return here again as it served all our needs and was just off the highway and it was easy to drive to everywhere in Victoria....

「Our stay at Karl and Mandy’s couldn’t have been better! From the easy check-in to the incredible grounds, delicious breakfast and our nightly soak in our private hot tub, everything was top notch. We were even greeted by two does on our first morning! With a fifteen minute drive from the airport and another fifteen to downtown Victoria, the location is ideal. I definitely recommend these accommodations and would very much like to return the next time we visit Victoria!」

「Overall place was okay. Ideas to make things better. 1. There were no staff or contact numbers available to help and answer questions. 2. No descrption of where bedrooms and sleeping couches were. 3. The tv controller was missing so could not watch. 4. We had to search closets for bedding. 5. Didn't find the thermostat controls until next morning. These and other minor problems could be avoided if the was a printed orientation guide for all facilities. 」

「Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort. Our bedroom was upstairs, which was okay for us but might have proved challenging for some guests. The bathroom amenities were very satisfactory but the towels and bath mat were tired.
