「We received a warm welcome from Ryan at his 'Community' pub, Ring o'Bells, West Alvington on the outskirts of Kingsbridge. The bedrooms are beside the carpark; access to them is via an open sturdy metal stairway which may be a challenge in adverse weather. The beds with en-suite facilities were clean and well-presented; we all enjoyed a good night's sleep without any distractions. The highlight of the Ring o'Bells is the spectacular Devon countryside overlooking the outskirts of Kingsbridge...

「Did not see any staff all weekend, key left in front porch with a note on arrival. Place felt ambandoned and un safe, had it not been height of summer season would have looked for alternative on night of arrival. Advertised details incorrect no restaurant or food available after 5 hour drive had to go out to find food. Plates and cultery left in room with very noisy fridge next to bed, expected to wash up in basin in bathroom. Farm in the middle of nowhere so no where to get food. Down stairs...

「We stayed in Kingston because we wanted to „shortcut“´a long stage of the South Coast Path. We received a very friendly welcome, the hosts were great, and the Dolphin Inn Pub and the rooms have lots of athmosphere! We liked it a lot!」

「We had a wonderful visit and the location is superb. The house needed some fixing but none of the small issues really affected us but the sketchy internet was a problem. Hopefully they can improve that to make everything perfect. A truly lovely place.」

「The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.」

「The business is no longer a going concern, no staff, fire risks, lack of lighting in public areas, on-line advertising is totally misleading (outdated). One has to feel for the poor Landlord trying in vain to keep going.」

「Wonderful large lodge ideal for our family. Most relaxing time ever. The lodge had everything we needed, Beds were very comfortable with lovely soft linen and the site was remote and quiet but slightly out of season which suited us, can’t imagine getting too noisy though as good space and double glazed.
