"Very outdated “5 star” hotel. Everything appears clean, but it feels dirty due yo how everything has aged. Facilities are in dire need of a renovation. Our first room had some electrical issues, in which loud buzzing was heard when certain lights were on. It also had old wooden floors that creaked, as did the room over us causing so much noise that we required a room change to the top floor. The next room had the same electrical sounds and issues. "Amazing stay at Royal Lakshmi (Laxmi) Palace Jaipur. We stayed here for one night since Marriott was all booked. To my surprise, this property went above and beyond on a customer service. Starting with Checkin, when we arrived, rooms were already ready to check in took less than 3 mins for them to verify /scan IDs and give us keys to the room. "The property is beautiful, located amidst nature, quiet and peaceful. Staff were excellent in their assistance and nature- very helpful, particularly Robin! Cleaning staff were excellent too, took every measure to make sure our stay was comfortable. Lot of activities for kids- they loved and enjoyed the stay. Overall, very pleasing experience. Would choose none other than Taj for our future stay."
