The location is convenient to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to eat and play board games on the island. Our dog loved the windows and screened in porch. Highly recommend!」

The location was close to the main street, which is a quaint Adirondack town with nice restaurants. It's 20 minutes north of Lake Placid and 10 minutes from all kinds of winter activities. 「We loved the Hotel Saranac. It is a beautiful old hotel located in the downtown area just steps away from shops and restaurants. Be forewarned, the rooms are small, but filled with charm, well appointed and very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is very good and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back.」
